Having more, and more, and more people join this project is a great thing, but it doesn’t come with more hours in the day to welcome them onboard. I can't keep up with welcoming all our new volunteers.
I am looking for a volunteer to take on the duty of onboarding all our new volunteers and answering basic questions through email. This entails reviewing initial communications from each person, transferring relevant information to our customer database, sending out a personal welcome email, and answering any common questions.
I think this will normally take less than one hour a day, unless there is heighten interest due to some news coverage. Some days it may only take a few minutes, if inquires were minimal the previous day.
