Here's how you can help insure an accurate count of SBTS Stories

We are working to ensure that the records on Fold 3 labeled with Stories Behind The Stars as the 'Content Provider' are complete Memorial Stories for our WWII Fallen. This is how we measure total progress for completed stories.

We have identified two issues that can impact the accuracy of our numbers. Here's how you can help:

1) "Records" saved as SBTS Content that are not Memorial Stories. Some records designated on Fold3 as SBTS Content are actually only discrete facts about individuals (such as enlistment records, Find-A-Grave pages, etc.) that have been saved on Fold3, possibly as placeholders for a future story, but do not currently contain stories. If this is part of your data-gathering process, feel free to continue, but please do not designate the record with Stories Behind the Stars as the "Partner" on the right of the Facts page for anything other than a complete story.

2) "Stories of US Fallen from wars other than WWII" - Feel free to use your talents to write and post memorials honoring US Fallen from other conflicts. However, until SBTS completes all stories for WWII Fallen and considers taking on the Fallen from other wars, these are outside our published mission. SBTS should ONLY be designated as a "Partner" on Fold3 for completed stories of WWII US Fallen.

We hope to address these above issues in the current Fold3 database with a bulk edit in the near future. Going forward, we would greatly appreciate your help in avoiding these two issues when adding new content.
